• STU REMINGTON • Drums, Vocals, Guitar, Songwriter, Recording Engineer,
Producer
Stuart is an anomaly. It is very rare indeed that a drummer also develops the acumen to become a guitarist and learn the art of recording production. The Neighbors are all the better for it. On the original tune, Just Another Song For The Road, Stu plays the electric lead guitar part as well as laying down the percussion tracks. He engineered, recorded, mixed and mastered this track for The Neighbors sampler. Potentially he's a one man band, though he prefers the musical interplay found only in a group.

Several of those group lineups included Steve Camp and Jeff Mackay. In 1970 they formed the nucleus of Soapstone Mountain, an original composition and cover band of the era which at it's zenith headlined both the Terrace and the University of Utah Union ballrooms. Stu moved to Los Angeles in the late 70s and worked in several commercially and artistically successful bands. They included The Buskers and Quicksand. It was during this time he developed as a recording engineer.

Stu has reunited once again with Steve and Jeff just like the old days when they came from the same neighborhood. Writing their own compositions and covering music from any other artist that sparks them.
