His earliest band was a contemporary of Soapstone Mountain in the early 1970s. Coming from the same neighborhood but a few years behind Stu, Steve, and Jeff in school, he formed Summerhill. The Disco era found Brooke in Fat Chance and SLC. In the late 70s he and Steve met up with Michelle Nunley (aka one of the Saliva Sisters before she knew her true lineage) to form Headwind. They played corporate parties, private gigs, the club circuit and weddings. Once Michelle met up with her long lost sisters from AhComeon, Nevada, she and the girls hit the bricks as the Saliva Sisters which made quite a splash. Headwind backed them up for a while until more of the family moved in.
Brooke plays 99% of the lead guitar work for The Neighbors. The other 1% goes to Jeff or Stu. He's not selfish mind you, he's just that much better of a player. Raised on a steady musical diet of rock, funk, disco, blues, and country, Brooke digested it all.
